Junior Open Day

Tony Jacklin OBE will be presenting the prizes on the Junior Open Day, July 30th. Tony was a Junior member here before turning professional. He won the British Open Championship in 1969 and the U.S. Open Championship in 1970, holding both titles at the same time. In 1985 he won the Ryder Cup as a non-playing Captain and we are honoured to have him at our presentation.

Founded in 1935 Ashby Decoy Golf Club was originally a farm estate and over the years has been carefully developed into a superb 18 hole golf course. Rich in local wildlife, the course provides a great challenge for golfers at all levels and is one of the leading courses in the region.

Testimony to this is the 700 strong mixed membership and the friendly atmosphere which characterises the club.

Conveniently located in North Lincolnshire it is within easy reach of major towns and cities in both Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, with excellent links throughout the two counties.
